The Everglades National Park is a must see - even if you're a local! Also known as the "river of grass", the Everglades is a 1.5 million acre national park. While many ways and areas to visit - one of the most popular ways to experience it is with an airboat ride through the area. The two companies based in Greater Fort Lauderdale that specialize in airboat rides is the Sawgrass Recreation Park and Everglades Holiday Park.
